In January we made it public that we are having a baby. We pretty much played it by the book and waited to the 12 week mark. At almost eight weeks Kara had her first ultrasound and everything looked perfect and we saw the baby's heartbeat. We celebrated a late Christmas with Todd's parents and sister and finally got to meet Ellen's fianc・Kevin. We went to Kristen Planny's 30th birthday party and got to reflect on what it was like turning 30. First Union Insurance Group had their New Years Gala at the Convention Center and it was a lovely evening of food, dance and prizes.

We went to work after letting out a refuse. The work in today was miserable. Then, we are leaving the office hastily if the company cuts off.
